I like good family fun, and Cloverfield is no exception. Other great family films I recommend: Hostel, Saw, Aliens, Black Sheep (NZ),  Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood, The Mist, Men Behind the Sun, Man Bites Dog, Cannibal Holocaust, Perfume, and The Pacifier.

And hey, if you’re looking for serious drama, there’s always Gremlins 2.
